• Click on the Pen Tool or click P as a keyboard shortcut
• Tap the mouse (left click) once on the background then drag to make the first line
• The line should produce another as you drag your mouse around. Drag the mouse to get to the next point of your star shape
• Repeat previous until you make a star shape (IF you happen to make any mistakes while creating the star shape, right click then click "Undo Pen" which should get rid of the previous line)
• Once you have the last line of the star, drag to the very beginning where you originally started and click on the dot of the first line you created
• Click on the Paintbrush tool or click B as a keyboard shortcut
• Go to the middle of one of the points of the star and tap once to create a dot
• Repeat previous on every side of the star, then click on the middle of the star to place a dot there
